City of San Antonio & Bexar County have a lot of automobiles in their fleets that are paid for by the taxpayers. However none of these were made at plant of South Side Toyota. The local leaders were 8 and half years ago as ground got broken on Toyota plant. The car company was praised for bringing down a lot of jobs.
In spite of that, there aren't any Toyota trucks having county or city logos. A lot of Toyota Priuses are purchased, but there aren’t any trucks. Jorge Perez, the Director of Building & Equipment Services is the department which buys vehicles. He says that the city isn’t against Toyota and that they welcome the company.
Apart from that, he said that this is need of full size and compact trucks and there are 324 of such vehicles on fleet. However, there are no [...]

What is new in the 2011 model?
In the 2011 model, GMC Canyon has a couple of minor changes, like new Bluetooth connectivity, 6 months of OnStar's Connections and Directions for offered free, and the headrests have a new design.
Intro
2011 GMC Canyon is good example of an automobile which all kinds of attributes that the buyers would need but I still find it hard to recommend. The consumers who are shopping in the midsize/compact segment of pick up trucks typically need multiple engine, rugged styling, and choices of body style along with off-road package availability. People who want to tow their equipment of small business' or any weekend toys would need a lot of power for all such requirements. GMC Canyon does offer you all this, but it is still a truck which can not compete with few bigger [...]
Willow Springs Raceway probably isn't the first place that people think of while testing Jeep limits. 9 turns of road high-speed course is far removed from the famous trails like Hell's Revenge or Rubicon as you will get, but this does not mean that the company famous for go any where automobiles can not go here with some help from the performance brand of Chrysler's.
Ralph Gilles, the CEO and president of SRT Chrysler group says that the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is delicious. He is the man behind the 5150-pound 6.4-liter, yuppie-stomper; it will certainly scare the pedestrians and make bros do the high 5 thing. I totally agree that this cheesecake is yummy and are 3 other new SRT automobiles apart from this one. This is a steaming platter thing containing chili fries served in cheese [...]
As a blog writer, I get a ton of emails asking about concept cars. There are people who ask me how come I can't buy those ones? Now you can buy them. But there aren't too much of them and they aren't cheap either. But you do you get to see them once in a while; those glittering concept cars show up and they are offered for sale. It is time to grab the checkbooks now.
This truck that is shown in the picture was centerpiece of Ford display at 2001 Chicago Auto Show. It is called F-150 Lightning Rod and it employs the same formula of SVT lighting along with more styling. The roofline is chopped and the windshield is raked. The interior is minimalist and head and tail neon lights are flush fitted. Entire package has a metallic red finish along with tribal tattoo motif. SOHC V8 5.4-liter [...]
We get lots of trucks and cars at our place for reviewing and hence there are plenty of sports cars and hot hatches lurking around all the time. A pick up doesn't enjoy the same popularity in our office as some of the other vehicles and I don't really need to tell you why. People prefer driving automobiles that are quicker and are more suited to the canyon roads. I got the 2010 Ram HD 2500 Laramie at my place for testing; it is one of the few automobiles in long term fleet which is willing to do the work at notice of a moment. This pickup will always be keeping itself busy.
I first saw the civilized nature of the 2010 Ram HD 2500 Laramie at testing of 2010 Truck of the Year. Ram won there due to impressive refinement and capabilities. As winner of TOTY, it wasily got a spot in my long [...]
While thinking about 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, you will certainly picture one orange meteor which barrels on the desert with high speed, flying through air, long traveling suspension and dangles below the dirty bits. This is partially due to the fact that the desert which storms out and bombs down root-strewn, muddy roads were used and partially it is also because these environments have been dominating the advertising efforts of Ford.
If you picture Raptor exclusively with regards to dry creek beds and yumps, then you are not alone. SVT and Ford have admitted that they did it too. But while making this truck, they realized that they made a truck which is much more versatile than what they intended to do in the first place. In the year 2009, there was massive snow storm which crippled [...]
Over a period of time, I have accepted the fact that I've got a lead foot. This isn't entirely my fault though; power comes pretty easy and quick on this Silverado. This is not a much problem in townships. The weakness comes along when I am on freeway. Where I do get on free way, on-ramp ends and merges and it is not the type where if you cannot get over, you will get off free way and then try at next one again. In this narrow vanishing road stretch, I did what we all do while merging along with traffic at the free way speeds. I found my spot and then lined up for it.
Lead footedness (this isn’t the real word, I know but what else can I call it?) got worse when I got on freeway. Applying the throttle lightly and I got speed boost; this too without a lot of effort. On the bright side, [...]
Hardly has a little truck hauled so much of baggage before. It has been plenty of years waiting for Mahindra's T40 and T20 pickups for finally making it to US. There has been a dispute between the Mahindra & Mahindra and its former U.S. Importer - GV USA. The London arbitrators took a long time to settle it and the dealers have filed suit against both of them. GV USA ran out of business in the month of September and hence it might take a couple of years now to see the T40 and T20.
But if you believe the people at the Mahindra Planet, " Unofficial Mahindra U.S. Source of News," say that Mahindra will start making trucks in US by 2012. You heard it right, they won’t just sell it there, but will also make it. The sources are unnamed and this prediction relies on the connection of Mahindra [...]
